RV Chapter PICNIC/Meeting 6/9

Post by dcheshier » Tue May 26, 2009 3:35 pm

The River Valley Chapter will be having a Spaghetti Dinner PICNIC/Meeting on Tuesday, June 9th at Carol Ann Cross Park in Fort Smith (1601 South 74th St). We will meet around 6 PM for socializing with dinner and the meeting to follow at 6:30 PM. Big thanks to Karen Bucella and Roxanne Kneessi for cooking up a big batch of spaghetti for all of us!

Please let us know if you and your family will be attending by e-mailing or calling at the contact info below by Thursday, June 4th. Also, please help out by bringing a salad, dessert, or some bread to share. The club will provide soda and water for drinks.

Don't forget to bring your boat for boatball or paddling on the lake.

Please remember, it would be helpful to hear from you by tomorrow (Thursday, June 4) if you are planning on coming to the picnic (see initial post for contact info).

Also, just got word that our friend and Christmas collector Toni White will be bringing about 4 tubs of paddling Christmas decorations/ornaments to the picnic that are for sale. She is downsizing her Christmas collection; Many still have the new tags on them. She's been picking up paddling Santa Christmas ornaments for years wherever she's traveled. Bring some money with if you want to celebrate some Christmas in June!
