ARG* is absolutely positively definitely considering a long awaited and much anticipated trip to the
Glover River in Southeast Oklahoma this Saturday, in order to run Wolf Hollow Falls, Meat Hollow Falls, etc. What will happen?

I've wanted to run this river but...the Three Rivers WMA Land Access Permit is now $85 each for non-residents (no more 3-day permits for non-residents)!! I know its not worth that.

The Glover runs out of the 3 Rivers WMA at the confluence with the Little Glover (a mile or so above the Stovall Trail) and doesn't enter it again until about 15 miles downstream at the Weyerhauser Rd 50000 crossing. Most of that stretch is USFS land.

Long flat pools inevitably end in steep drops - Meat Hollow Falls.

Didn't want to post on that "other" thread, but I think I'll take to calling it Dr. Bartonstein's monster.

Barring more rain (or Somali pirates), ARG really is going to the Glover tomorrow (really!). Leaving LR at 6 a.m. Rubber on the Glover.
Trip report to follow.
Looks like an armada is taking shape for the Piney on Sunday. Cap'n D, Ranger Rick, Jimbob, Eubie, Marcell, etc. etc. etc.

Don't think you can say that for sure, until you're on I-30 headed NorthEast. Pirates attack when you least expect it...
