just fyi, they have closed the road to wister coming in from heavener, and the gates have been open 2ft (all 6 gates) so the reading right now, is 3835 cfs, and rising, so if i hear anything i will post it, or I am sure that ricky will be posting info as well.
If you are planning on coming to check it out this weekend, the road may still be closed by then and you will have to take an alternative route through the actual town of wister to get to the dam. just follow the road straight through and out of town, and you will drive right to the dam.

Yes thats right the road is under water , for now the release is good now. so the floodpool elevation will slowly drop .this only means two things you may have to drive around a lil bit, and MORE WATER THAN THEY CAN RELEASE IN TWO WEEKS. NICE.....
