Andrew,I don't think anybody will be there today. Actually the damn is not releasing, but their going to have to release soon because there flood stage resevoire is at 44 percent full. When they do release I imagine it is going to be big 6000cfs big I hope or more! The guage on the whitewater page is the wrong one it is located down stream. The army corp of engineers damn guage is the one I use ,which shows presently that they are not releasing but maybe it's not telling the truth but I think it's right. See ya.Jason

were looking for a gradual increase in flows starting monday perhaps sunday cant say for sure cus the inflows, down river bank erooooosion, down river flood control for towns like panama,OKl. and pocola,Okl.-all are facters that play a part in regulating when we get our flows. and how much . the thing to remeber is that when down stream flows are high and distg. low means that caston creek is feeding mid stream so flood control down stream is the issue there. After that, bank erosion plays it part. limiting flows to a grad. rise to mantain the integrity of the banks down stream. We very seldom see the flows jump to high levels to quickly .also works the other way can't lower it to quickly .. so if it's running at the high levs. it will be a stair step so remember that lake levs. determen when there going to the next up or down lev. so untill you all figure this thing out get a hold of me .I'm geten pretty good at predicting . with the help of the corp. They have helped so much in our efforts.in getting this thing up .

This weekend !!!!!!!!!!!! well ,we will see a disgarge of atleast 3500 by friday .could reach the 5000's due to lake levels. and have you ever heard of Big Creek. ? just alittle class three 6mile run when the levels are over 2000 on the lower blk.fork. in leflore county. also one of my favs. is the Kiamichi river near big ceder . and the ever popular tot is 40min. away. got lots of unrun stuff that just needs some motivation and looooots of h20. thers only one direction you can look and not see rivers and that up.

I wish I new how to post my footage at big levels to give you guys a look at what the waves like. I think James has some footage of Ricky and I, I wonder if he could post it? Your not going to be disappointed if you come out. See ya. Jason

Gave alook c last night ,to c what 3800 was like these daz. itwas the glassiest riverwide , with a pop and hardly any foam wave . the trough was only 3to4 feet deep no wories bout the water deepth . at over 3000 the wave moves back away from the shelf so at 3800 youre at mid river in the deepest part . and judging from water line on the lil island two foot deeper than at 2000.but that nasty 5800 level is around the corner (Big boyz/girlsonly). so be riverwise.
