For those of you in Central AR who can't miss work on Wed, a friend and I are considering going to Norrell after work. We could probably get there around 5:30 or so.
We may not go if it's only the two of us, so post or call if you'll be there. If we know at least one other person is going to be there, we'll be there.

Rick,
I could probably meet you out there. I would imagine it is running too big right now, but maybe by this afternoon, it will be good. I'll hollar at you later. Renee

I got a lake report from a resident, and as of this AM, it is running about 3 feet over the spillway. That is HUGE!!!! About 2 1/2 feet higher than Saturday.
The local resident estimates that it will probably drop a foot maybe a little more if there is no more rain by this evening, so it will be going off pretty big. Probably too much for me to handle, but I may go out there just to see others run it if people are going. I'll have my throw rope in case anyone is getting

in a hole. Post up or call me if you are going.

Hey AK. Norrell is actually a lake about 30-35 miles WSW of LR with a spillway that drops about 60 - 80 feet over a quarter mile or so. Most of the spillway is natural rock but starts with a small concrete section.

Thanks Brad good info!
That spillway seems a little high for me on the risk factors ...looks like quite a ride though :)
