Chuch Bewley

Post by boba » Wed Apr 29, 2009 10:18 am

I am sad to report, but know that consolations can be helpful, that Chuck's wife Beverly died very shortly after the birth of their daughter. Chuck was not a member of the club or even this forum as I am aware, but was a kayaker from Lamar that many of you may know. Having experience with this kind of pain, I know that any expression from friends is helpful is some small way. An online obituary is at

I'm very, very sorry to hear this, Chuck. I guess there's nothing I can really say... Words are indeed not enough at times like this.

SuckerBill, It was good to see you yesterday and it made me smile to hear about how you're already teaching some childless paddlers "how to" take care of one. Like I said, holler at me if I can ever do anything for you. You hang in there !
