Hey guys -

In case you don't know...they will close the UALR pool if there is thunder/lightning. While it's still clear here right now (as of 5pm), the big BLOB looks to be about an hour away, and as per Cowper in Russelville, there's definitely thunder and lightning in that thar blob. If that blob arrives at 6pm just as the session starts, they will end up closing the pool just as everyone is arriving.

So, just a heads up that if you plan to go tonight, you might want to check the radar and make an informed decision. It's looking to me like we might get about 5-10 minutes in the pool and then the storm will hit and they'll shoo us right out!

My 2 cents!

but you'll never catch me complaining about too much of that southern rain.

PS - I live only 5 minutes from the pool, so I will still plan to go there to help anyone out that wants to come (I'm not going to bother bringing my boat in), so if anyone wants to risk it and see how long they might keep it open, I can be there to help...

Of course, if it's already thundering and lightening at my house at 5:55...then I won't bother!!! :D

Heather, if you need a boat, grab one of mine. The sprayskirts should still be hanging on the lifeguard stand in the S.E. corner. Grab loop has Prijon and Dagger marked on them. Skinny Rapidstyle only fits the Yeller squirt boat. I might show. Never know. I might wana save myself for 2moro?......
