Yes we are. Paddledog is in the works right now to make it all happen. So come hungry and be prepared for some of those famous pup dogs.

NW Chapter will indeed be serving fried catfish, chicken, and our famous recipe fried hushpuppies again this year on Saturday night! We're ready this year to handle a big crowd, so come hungry! Price this year is probably going to be a ten dollar bill, so make sure you have one handy. We're making plans to move the line faster this year - last year caught us by surprise with the number of folks who lined up.

I think we'll be serving at 5:00 PM. We'll also announce the time at the start of the school, so pay attention then. I'd like to stress that we will have plenty of food this year to feed everyone and fresh food will be hitting the pans constantly. Don't really have to form a big line all at once, but we won't stop you if you do. :)

This is gonna be good!

So Saturday night dinner & Sunday morning breakfast taken care of if you bring some cash. Now we just need a chapter to set up some sort of lunch stop on the river on Saturday & Sunday. That would be sweet! You wouldn't even have to pack food for the trip!! Looking forward to canoe school & the food! :D

Actually, here's an angle that will cover your lunches, too:

The Turner's Bend store makes tasty sandwiches which they will pack for the river. Problem is, classes meet so early, there's no time to get to the store in the morning to get a sandwich made...

SOLUTION! If you get to Turner's Bend before the store closes Friday night, you can place your sandwich order for Saturday and/or Sunday, and pay for your sandwiches ahead of time. Then, TB will make the sandwiches and have them sacked and ready to pick up under your name first thing in the am.

I know I plan on getting my sammie order placed on Friday! As a matter of fact, I had a cheese sandwich from TB today on the river. Yummy! :D
I've heard that into every life a little of it must fall,
but you'll never catch me complaining about too much of that southern rain.

All my food needs are now covered. Those are awesome sandwiches. They're big too.

Any chance I could get some fresh blueberries in my pancakes this year, RV? I got an extra dollar burning a hole in my pocket... :-)

OK, we're loading up the freezers with meat now - we can feed a BIG bunch of people. Bring your $10 to eat Saturday night, and spread the word! We'll have a tent/tarp set up in case it rains, so you can wait and get your food in the dry. We're sparing no expense at NW Chapter!
