All I saw was yesterday's email notice:

The release from Blakely Mountain Dam has been increased to about 3300 CFS. Carpenter and Remmel are releasing to match this flow plus whatever runoff remains from the weekend rains.

The Corps is also releasing about 2900 CFS from DeGray from 11 AM to 11 PM daily.

-- Lake & Shoreline News --

You may have noticed that Lake Hamilton dropped a few inches last Friday just before the rains arrived. We operate Lake Hamilton between elevation 399.90 and 398.90 with a target of 399.70 ft. Under normal circumstances we will typically hold the lake near the target. In the spring when we get a near term forecast for heavy rain we may pull it down to the lower end of range right quick. This time we did get some rain, but not the heavy rain that was forecasted and that other parts of the state did receive. The lake was returned to near the target by Sunday. The Ouachita River Valley is known as a flash flood valley so we have to keep a constant eye on it. You should always have your boats and docks set up where they can manage a rapidly changing lake level, but even more so during the rainy season.

For more lake and shoreline information, contact: Blake Hogue, bhogue@entergy.com or (501) 844-2148.
