I took these at the Tot Sunday, level about 4 feet:

I heard a lot of comments there about "wish I could paddle like that kid!" :-)

If only we were kids again.
I was inspired to paddle after watching the Olympic Games in 1972. This was the first and only time slalom racing was in the Olympics till 1996. I got to see this event in person.

I don't know who that dude boofing in the last picture is but he looks like he could use some added instruction. He looks really awful.

My favorite picture is #8

He kept asking me until I let him catch the plus eddy in the washing machine, he sure is starting to put the pressure on me,and some of my paddling partners. Maybe Richland next. Nick

Boating with Hunter is a blast! I feel honored everytime I get to boat with him. I know it won't be long before he is running the gnar gnar. It blew my mind Sunday when Hunter caught the plus eddy on the Machine. Heck I'm still afraid to catch the around the world eddy at the top.

Yeah, the classic "helicopter takeoff" paddle position will not earn lots of style points from the European judges... And if you think that's bad, you should have seen his previous two attempts! Man, good thing they throw out the lowest score...
