Excellent outfitter: Buffalo River Canoes

Post by Tim Eubanks » Mon Apr 20, 2009 11:46 am

Former student of mine now runs Buffalo River Canoes (what was Keller's Canoes )at Pruitt. His goal is great customer service. Prices are clearly posted and the store has first class gear, if you need it. If you're up there and need a shuttle, boat, both, check 'em out!

their website looks nice and informative.

I live in OK and would like to float this for the first time this summer if water levels allow it.

I agree Buffalo River Canoes is a great outfitter. They did my shuttle last month when I took my 7 day, 6 night 100 mile trip on the Buffalo from Pruitt to the White River. They were gracious enough to be my emergency contact for my satellite distress beacon while I was on the river. They had my itinerary and were prepared to pick me up at any point if I had to end the trip early. I will definitely use them for future shuttles.

I've known Jessie since he was 15. He comes from good stock, as we say up in the hills. He was raised by good parents and knows how to treat people right. He knows how hard we all work for our money and will make sure you get the most out of yours.

A not-so-small part of me wishes I was doing his job.Keep using him and his guys. They are all local and know the ropes. Don't let them talk you out of your Blue Hole.

BUFFALO RIVER CANOES AND,JESSE, SAY THANK YOU ALL FOR THE KIND SUPPORT.. and he is looking forward to serving you again soon..... ... sad to say they have shut down for the season due to no water on the upper district. he may still do some private shuttle service, but the store is shut down as clean up, and repair work goes on for the 2010 season.( THE PHONE IS STILL ON .. AND THE E-MAIL ALWAYS WORKS!).. AGAIN THANK YOU ALL... :D
