Instructor at Whitewater school?

Post by Karla » Sat Apr 18, 2009 10:00 am

I know a couple of people who know who their instructors are. I haven't heard from mine. Just wanted to make sure I am positively registered as I did the pay pal and it charged my card for the amount. I haven't recieved anything to show I am actually registered.

Karla, we just received the class assignments on Friday. It looks like you are in class K-9 with Vernon Seaman and Jim Jones as your instructors.

Thanks for the info. I was worried since I didn't hear anything that my registration didn't go through. I guess I don't know these guys. Where are they from?

Vernon is from Owasso, OK, and Rev. Jim is from Van Buren. You'll get your money's worth out of the weekend.

Karla,
Vernon was my instructer 2 or 3 years ago. He's a really good instructer. You should really enjoy the weekend on the water.

Susan, you are in K-2. Your instructors are Laurie Fisher, Liz Caldwell and Chuck Babb. You are doomed. Liz usually has very few survivors from her class. Your only hope is Chuck Babb. He is an an SWR instructor and is good at recovering students and gear.

Sounds like I am in great hands .. and Gary has picked me up off floors before so I guess he can 20 yrs later too. Gary, I am looking forward to seeing you (guess I better lose all that weight I gained since college!) and pool Liz ... how she drew my name ... but it will all be great, or at least entertaining, especially to the class behind me!
Thanks for letting me know and putting a SWR person in my group!

Susan,

I guess you know not to believe anything Steve says, after all, he's an open boater (and a darn good one)!!

Btw, I sent you an e-mail on Friday with the rest of my class. Please let me know if you got it so I'll know I have the correct e-mail.

Thanks!!
Liz

Gary, you should run right in FRONT of Liz's class so your class can stop at the runout of each rapid and practice their rope throws.

I think you are right Randy! They would have a better view as well. Glad you are looking out for me (my safety) and Gary as well (his entertainment).

I am pretty sure it is too late. You had to be registered by a certain date but it may not hurt to ask anyway.
