Before you plan your Louisiana Whitewater trip...

Post by Big Daddy D » Tue Apr 14, 2009 11:09 am

With all this talk of Louisiana Park and Play, I don't want any of you to miss out on the wonderful whitewater waiting for you here in North Texas. I found this new park and play spot on Rowlett creek just 2 minutes from my house. This is footage at around 2000 cfs.

I've been trying to come up with a name for it and I want a name that will inspire paddlers from all of North America to come here and enjoy the North Texas Whitewater Experience.

Names I'm considering:

God of Chunder (in honor of Gene Simmons)
Chocolate Chunder (in memory of Darryl Dawkins)

If you have any other suggestions, I welcome them. :D
