Sneed Creek

Post by 2fast2reid » Mon Apr 13, 2009 8:07 am

Question for you all.....we rode horses on the Buffalo Saturday and it was a hair too long for me, but made it out and all is well! My question is has anyone every ran Sneed creek? It looks like it could be alot of fun when the water was up, but had never seen a post of anyone talking about the creek.

Thanks,

Jake

I ran the last couple drops on it like 2years ago,( was camping at the confluence and received 4 inches of rain overnight) but I think your speaking of rocky bottom on up a bit. As far as I know its not been ran. Mostly b/c of getting there vs the reward factor.Rocky bottom sure is pretty cool though huh? :D

Its a VERY sweet place for sure!!! Next time we ride up there and don't ride 15 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My GF and I want to ride down and get some pics of Sneed/Jackies creek, or thats what a friend of mine called the creek that runs into Sneed. I took 2 of our better horses, and I am sure they were glad to see the trailer after that long pull back up the hill from Sneed.
