I'm going to be up in OK next week, is there a gauge I could check or number I could call to see if they are releasing for the wave?

you can call me at 918.413.3632 Michelle Ashford. i check it daily in person and i check the gauge. it's Tulsa district lake information, wister lake. if the release is at 4000 cfs, then it is the big wave we have been waiting for, anything between 2000 and 4000 is good surf tho. so let me know when you are coming up. I would love to join you. Thanks

That would be great! due to the large amount of rain they have slowed down the gates. but i figure in a few days it will be releasing really good! I can't wait! Peace and look forward to hearing from you
