A old highschool buddy works for hearst puplishing . they do dirty jobs, and recreation nation . on the discovery chanel and he thinks what we do is (cool). we'll see.? any other questions?call at the # above. All vid. must be shot for this project .no old fotage.sorry

Hard pumping flatwater, isnt that an oxymoron? :? Seems to me "X games style" cool stuff you speak of would probably be steeeep creekin or racing not flatwater or hole routines.Extreme is when your super stoked and scared sh!tless at the same time.I know most people seem to think extreme steep creeking races(green race, grand slalom, lord of the forks, cherry creek race, south silver race, etc) already fill the "xgames" aspect of our sport.Maybe you could organize a race on something steep and sik visually for your camera.(Plenty of super continous steep stuff around central ark.think norrell style! ) That style of run would be perfect for this type of race.Im sure if you try hard enough you could easily get 20-30 min. of hardcore kayakin for your "circus" :D Just a thought! :idea:PS Ill be down to race and I think I know a "perfect course."It has 5 total drops w/ good visual appeal and could be filmed easily b/c of how packed the goods are. There is only like 15-20 yards of boogie in between the drops and several drops have multiple lines to benefit the creative/  racer. If playboatin is your thang we clould also do a king of the falls lip trick contest on the first drop!If its big I bet a hail mary is possible as well as the regular frrewheels, etc. Also good :hammer: beatdowns are almost gauranteed if enough people race it! Check it out bro!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs2gV5KDZh0 In fact it could be pumpin tomorrow by the afternoon!(2 inches will do it) Let's race c'mon jody I know you wanna! JOE C

Phat day on ole southcedar again today, and what a circus it was w/ 1 swim @ chief and a few other interesting runs of the chief as well! Props to Heath for settin the tone and also for dialin in the sweet new race lines on the smokin falls and buzzbuster (actually the new line shall be called buzzbooster :D )Great day fellas thanks for coming, without company its hard to fire tha chief up! Vid will be comin soon, and this time all carnage included!( kept er rollin the whole time)My last lap I ran it all continously, not truly racing but all 5 in a row. I can honestly say it would be 1 sweeeeet race course fo sheezy!Cmon fellas if you were there today chime in, whatdya think?

The Rivercross race Is a great idea. the kind we need , and as for flatwater and hole tricks is the part of kayaking that the general puplic hardly ever see, and the lip tricks .thats the kind of think we need . jody said he had the perfect 15footer for this . and the flatwater tricks ,Mabee you havn't seen my cartwheel over the front of a creekboat trick . or the MACHO move is only a flatwater loop done down river , or halemary is the same . Syncronized flatwater just looks great .thanks for the vid. You have the right idea. GO BIG OR GO HOME>

Today was your perfect race level except for buzzbuster! the buzzbooster line was not in so wall checks were in order fo sheezy. The right line at the notch was thin but still there and the hole was just big enough to serve up a beatdown if you werent on line. However no :hammer: beatdowns today! And heath the lil carnage you provided was a small price for the burly huckfest that followed, again PROPS for breakin the ice and firin it and everybody else up enough to go to battle w/ the chief!

new easter sunday vid coming tonight!it is ALMOST perfect except Im dicovering that when the top 2 drops are big enough for the new race lines (river left boofs)and the last 2 get really fun, the chief is on the warpath and tryin to scalp us. :hammer:  W/ enough safety and water it would be a sweet race for sure though.only problems are keepin the # of vehicles to a minimum as to not screw up access. If only those intending to actually race it all or enter a lip trick comp. were there and focus was on keeping a somewhat low profile I think we could make it happen. At a good level finding racers may be harder than you think its way scarier in person. However I am fairly certain some crazy  folks around would be down to race w/ enough safety and man it would kick a$$! Actually norrell would also be a good race for the 3-4+ boater not wanting to deal w/ the chief. Both are close enough to hit in a day Ive been doing both a lot lately and Id guess they are 45 min apart.

Good stuff, Boof, and anxious to see the new vid. Will the new footy show what happened between 2:46 and 2:47 in the first video? :poke: Also curious to know which boats/boaters had the best lines through Chief on Easter??? :poke:
Let there be rain!
