Elk River Report

This would be the Elk River over in Tennessee and not the one up in Missouri. Floated the Elk with Rob this past Saturday and Sunday. Tennessee has had a ton of rain and the rivers proved that out. However, the river is a safe river as there are no rapids. But it does have a really good current. One day driving from Arkansas allowed two days of floating and when you added the one day of return driving this turned out to be a four day trip. You need to get away from the job, from the school, or from stress then this is a good river for you. Check it out at Kelso, Tennessee. It would be worth your time. It is good enough that Rob and I are planning to return in October. If the river were closer I would go there more often. Check it out yourself and take a trip on the Elk.
