Help finding wister wave

We are currently hanging out in the town of wister with no ideas, we cant find the play spot or anyone else can. If anyone can help us out soon it would be greatly appreciated.

It is supposed to be within a few hundred yards of the outlet from Wister Dam - if you've been there and can't find it, it probably means they aren't releasing at the right level to create the play wave.

My number in 918.413.3632, Michelle Ashford. I live ten minutes from the wave. It is about half the size it needs to be for "the biggie" but now is a good time to surf river right. But river left is still a challenge to get in unless you start up river a little bit and try to back into it.
Anyway, Me and ricky are the only two people that consider this place "a wave" around oklahoma, so nobody will know what you are talking about. You go to the Dam part of the Lake, not the town. The play spot is about 130 yards from the dam release gates.
I apologize for your rough time. hopefully you got some help in finding it. if not give me a shout and i can tell you how to get there, or come get you wherever you are lost at and lead the way!

Went today with level reading 15.1--still too big, but down from 20.4 oneweek ago. It was pretty big and pushy. I tried to get up the river right side but kept getting blown back. I think it will rock about 2 feet lower. The site is very accessible at the Wister Lake Dam site park on river left. Bathrooms/changing rooms available.

actualy, thats low very low at this level I have hit my big head ,but my freind say's that when the floodstage hits over 13% flood stage he has to open all 6 gates to 4ft. thats when the Magic starts , see you there ., P.S outflow must be over 4000cfs

So on the gauge on the OWP list, it shows 11-13.7 to be good. Is 15+ feet too low. Are there pretty shallow rocks underneath. Tell me more. If that level is about 1/2 enough from michelle's note, is 30 feet good.

The wave has to be at least 4000 cfs to get the "BIG WAVE" goin, but at 2000 cfs and up you can still surf, surfers left (or river right), but no tricks, just mainly spins and side surf. there is a ledge there that you could hit so you have to be careful. We have surfed it lower too. I live ten minutes from the wave like ricky. I know I keep an eye on it all the time. i don't know if ricky does or not. if you can't get a hold of him you can call me for directions and stuff, or i can meet you somewhere and let you follow me in. 918.413.3632, Michelle Ashford

at higher levels it is easier toget in to ,but way fast . And the WAVES behind the wave are masive . It can safely be played in at lower levels just tuck. but over 2000 is beter for hole fun . over 4000-6000 for the big one but at that speed itll pull ur arm out o socket. It's fast.
