Roman I'm not positive but I think you could even have a good run of the top section at 4 feet (or less).

Yeah, 4' will do it on the upper two sections, but it will be a good paddle instead of an exciting one.

ahem.......Tom Kennon's guide says 5.0 min and optimum 5.5-7.0 .I totally agree and stand correct

We paddled from first bridge above 246 down to 246 today. Was a good level for two of our group looking for lots of eddyturn practice and practicing basic skills. Had to pay attention to lots of rocks lurking just under the water but no problem with any of the drops. So, whatever it was today was fine, though we certainly would have enjoyed another 3-6 inches of cushion.
