I'm sorry it took me so long to share this site with you all, however, today there is a talk about paddlegal's personal perturb, plastic. Most of you know how I feel about disposal, one use plastic.....eeeeeeeeewwwwwww

Sigh. Dang, that's depressing. I share your personal perturb with plastic, PaddleGal. So sad...so out of control. :(

Thanks for sharing - informative little clip and really drives home how important it is to stop this stuff from getting into our water ways in the first place.

Gee, I guess i'd better stop throwing away my kayaks after one use... :oops:

But seriously,
Like many other things in life, moderation is the key. I generally use my plastic disposable bottles(one at a time)
for at least a couple of weeks each. I refill my gallon jugs at the store(need to get filtration system for the house). Reuse
gallon jugs by filling with tap water and freezing for the ice chest. This eliminates buying several bags of ice over a weekend. Saves money and plastic, just kinda makes sense. Not to mention the thawed water in the jugs is good for coffee,cleaning-up, and water for the dogs.

Just my two cents(do I get any change back or just hope?)
