Elk River, Tennessee

Sure could use some rain down in this part of the state. Rather dry. Rivers are low. Wanted to go to the Brazos the week-end of the 14th and 15th but dragging canoes isn't a lot of fun. I will go to the Red next Sunday for a one day run. I wouldn't mind someone floating with me from the highway bridge at U.S. 67 to the take out point just past the bridge at U.S. 82 in Garland City. Being flat water I don't think there are too many takers.

Can't promise any wild whitewater but the flow is generally good on the Elk River in Tennessee. Rob and I are floating the Elk the 4th and 5th of April. Kelso, Tennessee. As I said, not wild water but if there are some older folks looking to get out and get on a river then I would be glad to have you join us. Just reply on this post.
