Reel Recovery - Float the whole durn thing

My name is Ken Richards. I am a fishing guide from Bentonville and a cancer survivor. I talked to the NWA chapter at their last meeting about Reel Recovery, http://www.reelrecovery.org . It is a fly fishing retreat for men who have or are recovering from life threatening cancer. We will be having our first retreat in Arkansas on October 23-25 at Cedarwood Lodge on the White River.

I am doing a fundraiser of floating the Buffalo and King's Rivers. The Buffalo float will be from Boxley to the White hopefully beginning on March 23rd. Maybe there will be some water by then. The King's float will be in May sometime and floating from Marble to Romp Hole. I am doing this like a walk-a-thon with pledges per mile floated. Both of these floats will be made in my drift boat and rowing. I will be updating my blog, http://www.justfishinguides.wordpress.com with pictures and commentary during the trip.
