Me too. Lots of that going around...

But hey, somebody's gotta win, right?! Who got one?

I have not heard a response yet. I know they got my app because I called to confirm. So, have they announced who got permits yet?
Maybe, just maybe they are mailing me the golden ticket!???!!!

I just remembered that I forgot to enter the Grand Canyon lottery and something occurred to me. Can't you run the Idaho rivers off season without winning a permit?

Yes you can...Its something I've wanted to do for some time...take a 4 or 5 day self support kayak trip down the middle fork, pre-permit season during big water!

I got 4 lemons for my $6 bet.

Hey, is this type of lottery legal in Arkansas?

Catch the Middle Fork about 6+ feet and you can run it in one day in a kayak any time of the year (permits are just for overnighters and :chicken:). Of course, if you hit any of the hundreds of holes at that level, you'll probably be staying in it overnight at least, which could result in a fine... :hammer:
