I will probably be out on the Mulberry this weekend, even if we don't get more rain it should hold at a nice level.

If the NWS predictions come true, we might have some creekin water on this side of the state. If you are interested in going creekin, the Mulberry and Lee Creek watersheds didn't get the damage that other areas did. I'm not sure about the Sugar Creek area, but hopefully it didn't get hit too bad either.

Fish said that Fern Gulley / Little Mill didn't get any damage, and I'm hoping that Mormon and White Rock are clear too.

AREA AT GREATEST RISK...NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS.

DISCUSSION...
WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED TODAY AND TONIGHT. ALL
TYPES OF SEVERE WEATHER INCLUDING TORNADOES...DAMAGING WINDS...
AND HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE. THE RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL
INCREASE DURING THE AFTERNOON...AND PEAK DURING THE EVENING
INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. INITIAL STORMS WILL HAVE THE
HIGHEST TORNADIC POTENTIAL...WITH LOCATIONS SOUTH OF A LINE
FROM MCALESTER TO FORT SMITH HAVING THE GREATEST COMBINATION
OF INSTABILITY AND SHEAR. AS THE EVENT DEVELOPS INTO THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS...A LARGE AND DAMAGING SQUALL LINE IS LIKELY
TO SWEEP ACROSS THE AREA. A TORNADIC THREAT WILL ALSO
CONTINUE DURING THIS TIMEFRAME...WITH AN INCREASING RISK OF
DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS.

we drove White Rock Mtn road (the Spirit creek putin road). Some, but not much damage along there. i would think Spirit, and White Rock would be ok.

Fern Gulley was clear of trees, so Spirits and probably White Rock should be good to go indeed. Little Mill is as well (of course).

So far, it looks like Ben Doodle and Hart Creek have gotten some good rains. I thought that West Cedar was getting a bunch too, but looking at Google Earth w/Fish's overlay (I guess you call his overlay - scales ) says otherwise.

These images are from Google Earth w/Scales, and they show what has fell before the major line comes through tonight(if it does). Sugar Creek had some good rainfall, but if you look right next to it Jacks Creek didn't get very much...(approx. 9 pm)
