IMPORTANT: NW CHAPTER PIZZA PARTY CANCELED DUE TO ICE STORM!

I know there is no ice storm at the moment, but we are under an official Ice Storm Warning now, and it looks like it will indeed get bad. Looks like they're talking about a good chance of ice forming as soon as it gets dark tomorrow, although the exact timing is still in question a bit. I spoke with several club officers up here this evening, and while we're an adventurous group, we are all in agreement that we do not want anyone risking their neck for some free pizza.
So, as much as it pains me, I am going to CANCEL THE PIZZA PARTY FOR TONIGHT AND MOVE IT TO NEXT MONTH'S MEETING ON FEBRUARY 23. Please spread the word as much as possible to all the folks you know who might be trying to come! We want to head off folks on this one to make sure no one shows up and is disappointed.
No one is more sorry than me to have to cancel it, but we'll work to get Buffalo R. Partners on the schedule for next month and work on having an even bigger party then!

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 6 AM CST
WEDNESDAY FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN ARKANSAS...
BENTON...CARROLL...WASHINGTON...MADISON.
A MIXTURE OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON
AND CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING. PRECIPITATION TYPE WILL
LIKELY FLUCTUATE BETWEEN FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET THROUGHOUT THE
EVENT RESULTING IN DANGEROUS ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF 1/2 INCH OR
GREATER ON TREES AND POWER LINES AND ALSO AN INCH OR TWO OF SLEET
ACCUMULATION.
THE ONSET OF HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL BE RAPID. THIS IS
DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE COLD AIR HAS BEEN IN PLACE SINCE FRIDAY
NIGHT AND THE SURFACE TEMPERATURES ARE ALREADY NEAR FREEZING. ONLY
SLIGHT AMOUNTS OF FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WILL CAUSE ROADS TO
QUICKLY BECOME VERY HAZARDOUS.
A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT WINTER WEATHER IS
EXPECTED OR IS OCCURRING. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR
IMPOSSIBLE

Good call,
Here in Tulsa @ 5:00pm Monday we have icy streets and hiways. Last count I heard was over 30 wrecks.
Hiways in town shut-down.Just a big mess.Have plenty of cold
and propane if needed.
Everybody be safe. Don't want to read about you in the paper for the wrong reason.

Wow, you'd think with all that snow and cold that the Weiner would've shrunk up a bit, but I guess not.
Anyway the driver couldn't cut the mustard.
It's brave of the tow-truck driver to admit this! Imagine admitting to the entire world "But that's the first wiener I've ever pulled out.". At least it was a memorable first time.
I wonder whether the wienermobile was wearing new rubber.
No matter how you cut it...weiner mobile + off the road in a snowback = funny
I certainly hope they grilled the driver about the cause of the accident. After being pulled out of the ditch it probably took a while for them to ketchup with their original schedule.
