I also added video of Rocket Slide rapid from earlier this year http://iyak.smugmug.com/gallery/6977621 ... 5711_LdpB3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Rocket Slide is technically on Fern Gulley Creek, but we've been putting in there when running Little Mill when the water is high enough. You can't see the top of the rapid, but it starts way above the drop you see on the video.

I don't know the easiest way to get from Hot Springs to the Mulberry area, but to get to the takeout of Little Mill from I-40, take exit 24 (Mulberry hwy 215 exit) and head north 3.7 miles. Turn right onto Wilson lane and go about 1/3 mile to the low water bridge. See the links below for info on the putin.

Fern Gulley is one of the three forks that converge to make Little Mill Creek.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it won't be long and we'll be going creekin' with Hunter instead of the other way around! :D
We'll be asking Hunter where he is going and if we can tag along. :poke:

Hey Don - Here is a good one of you in Stone Ground.

For those that don't know the creek, it was a low level that day so Stone Ground wasn't too bad. Sammy and I actually got in and surfed a bit. But at higher water this hole has a strong tractor beam that sucks you back in and gives you a beaten. It especially likes short round creek boats with lots of rocker. It gave me 2 good beatens this year...

I'm really liking the http://smugmug.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; smugmug website, I thought I would give the free trial a go, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the features for both photos and video. I'll be paying $59 a year, but for no limits on storage and no limits on data transfer, I think it's worth it.

Don - if you want to save the image below in its full size form go http://iyak.smugmug.com/photos/446542966_7o33R-L.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; then hover over the picture and click Save Photo. You can also click Buy Photo and get an 8x10 for $1.99.

Thanks Rob, pretty neat site indeed. I just ordered 4 8x10 glossy pics for $12.91 including shipping and processing!
Not a bad deal. 8) Should get them early next week.
Hey, show some of the not so low water Stone Ground video if you can. :)

Hey, show some of the not so low water Stone Ground video if you can.
OK then. To my shame I post this link http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... ound&hl=en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , but in my defense I was having a bad day (just started some strong alergy medicene and it was messing with me) and I really didn't think that I would make it through anyway but I dared Nick to run it and said that I would if he would, and he did, so I did too. Also, I said up front that if it caught me I wouldn't try to waste energy getting out but I would just pull the cord and swim.

This video shows Ryan running Rocket Slide http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 3384&hl=en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; on the same day I think. You can see more of that rapid from this video, as compared to:
http://iyak.smugmug.com/gallery/6977621 ... 8415_pYjqq" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , where you mostly just see the bottom part. Both good views, but different.
