Arctic Paddling Today (Sunday)?

We paddled the Tot at 60 deg. temps yesterday, but that is winter paddling for sissies. Today it's 8 deg with a wind chill of -6 here in Fayetteville - real winter paddling conditions! Have to break ice in the eddies to hit them! Anyone going paddling today? If so, I'll watch the videos you take on my DVD player next week. I'm getting some hot chocolate and hanging out in front of my fireplace with my wet gear from yesterday!

Stay warm,
Fish

Yeah, I heard there was some pretty bad carnage at the washing machine yesterday. wish i would have been there to see it first hand. We hiked graves creek on the 19th and it was a great hike 70 degrees and sun in russellville. went to the ATU graduation saturday to watch the girlfriend graduate college. wish we could have made it. glad everyone had fun.

Fish, great plan. I'm on it!

Jack,
It's been several years since I have been on Grave's creek, so I'm curious:
1) How is the access road? (4WD has always been needed in wet weather, but, can a typical pickup truck, suburban, etc still do fine, or is a more specialized vehicle now needed?)
2) With all of the ice storms and tree diseases of recent years, what is the wood situation?
