You're welcome! Lazer the Rainmaker strikes again. My powers had disappeared for the past couple years, but maybe they are starting to return. Enjoy the Tot while I'm enjoying the Cumberland Plateau and Applilachians.

I had actually been considering posting a thank-you note even before you said something.
In any case, the gift was much needed and much appreciated!

Druse and I bagged our first runs of the Conasauga in NW Georgia. It is practically a backyard run for Druse. A mile plus hike in, upper gorge starts right off the bat, then a section of Nantylike water then the lower (Chicken Coop) gorge. Lots of fun. Clear skies and cold on Sunday. More rain forcasted for Christmas!
Highly recommend the Conasauga. Great water quality and scenery. Crystal clear water in a wilderness are of the National Forest. Very steep walled gorge without many bluffs, but very few places the sun reached the river.
Upper Upper description here.
Info on the main section (Chicken Coop Gorge) here.

Ran that one once when I lived in Dalton, GA. I remember the access being confusing and sketchy, but that was a long time ago (1994). Guidebooks were basically nonexistent for the run then. Crazy fun times on Cartecay, Chestetee, etc. North GA has some good water for everyone.

Dang! I'm sorry I missed that Lance and Druse. But we did squeeze in a beefy run on Johnnies Creek Saturday!
Hope to catch you the end of this week...

You don't need a personal assistant or anything out there in GA do you? I know a college student who wouldn't mind working his butt off for a little bit of food (I don't eat much) and a shuttle every weekend....

Heehee. I think we've got room for one more at the house. As long as you promise to take me down OBJ in the summer, we'll call it even.
