RV Chapter Christmas Party Saturday Dec 6th

The River Valley Chapter Christmas Party will be Saturday December 6th. The gathering will commence around 6:30P.M. and food will be served around 7:00 P.M. This will be a pot luck dinner and other chapters are also welcome to attend.
The party will again be at the Smets club house near Rudy , AR. About 3.5 miles on Hwy 282 from Hwy 64 in Van Buren ,AR. Look for the RV ACC Banner.
We will have some great music and the annual dirty Santa gift exchange. Also this will mark a new beginning for the RV Chapter as Diane Cheshier has graciously agreed to take over the Presidential Helm for 2009!
I am very excited that Diane will bring a new energy to the chapter. As you know Dian is a certified ACC Kayak instructor and does our chapters pool roll sessions. Over the past few years Dian and crew have brought many new members on board and I am sure many more to follow.
I want to thank all my ACC friends new and old for the support you provided me in my two year term as Chapter President of this great organization. I will always hold that dear to my heart.
So, lets get our dang party on!!!!!!!!!! Wahooo and Ho Ho Ho!

Dave! Glad to know you're still alive and well. And thanks for helping with the party! I trust your judgment, especially since I know nothing about the local music scene. I have heard the Barking Spyders are pretty good, but I haven't heard much about them lately.

Decided the Fried Turkey would be too repetitive so close to Thanksgiving and now going with what we had last year. A Heavenly ham, so pot luck accordingly.

The Smets driveway is right at 5 miles from Hwy. 64 and a little over 4 miles from 1-540 North (Exit 24). Be very wary of the locals.

Talked to Hunter Smith and he and Adam Robertson are going to entertain us for the party! Acoustic duo on guitar and piano. Should be fun.

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone and celebrating the season. Miss you guys!
