THE BUFFALO FLOWS

"The Buffalo Flows" tells the story of the Buffalo River, America’s first national river. The film chronicles the cultural and natural history of the river and the fight to save it from being dammed. It also explores the adventures that await families interested in experiencing the natural wonders of Arkansas. The film is written and produced by two-time Emmy award winning filmmaker Larry Foley, professor of Journalism at the University of Arkansas, who will be available for questions and discussion following the screening. This film is presented in partnership with the Arkansas Educational Television the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Arkansas Film Commission.
When: Thursday, November 20, 2008
7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Film Screening *Discussion to follow
