My brother's kid wants my kids in her wedding next July. So if we jet up to Spokane Wash area, what else is close to there that we can do? My family have never been to the real mountains. We were planning a CO trip last year that gas prices killed. So hoping to get up there and spend a few days playin tourist/foreigner in the neck of ID or western Wash. We are the more explore - hike type than malls and attractions. Drives down mt roads along rivers would suit us great. Kids will be 11 + 5 if that helps.
