Lee (Surfdawg) and I are meeting at 11am in the Kroger's parking lot on Cantrell in West Little Rock and then we're paddling the 4 miles from Pinnacle Mt. State Park to Burnett Road private boat ramp. Swamp-like paddle - should be beautiful fall colors on Pinnacle Mt and on the cypress trees. Usually nice bird watching (osprey, owls, hawks). Others welcome to join! Post here if you want to come.

Cheers,
Heather aka Lupe

Michael:

You trader. I can't believe you jumped Threads onto Little Maumelle trip!

We'll compare color of trees stories and see which one you should have picked!

Have fun,
Susan T

Great- see you guys there!

Susan, I've got my camera packed, so you better have photographic evidence for our comparison!

Something tells me that this will be a WIN-WIN competition, though! :D

We had a deer jump in the water above the ledge and over by the big rock, go over the ledge, swim to the other side, get out and run!

Great Day ... I'm sure you had a great day and group as well!
We'll combine and follow you through the cypress trees soon. It's getting cooler and the alligators will be going to sleep for the winter!

Okay Heather you need to beam up the pictures. Still some green along the shoreline. Seeing that buck go across the ledge was a first for me. No pictures but lots of witnesses. It was a great day to be outside.
