In case anyone didn't see it, there was a shot on page 2B in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette today Tuesday 11/4/08 of a lone sea kayaker paddleing under the I-30 bridge on the Arkansas River Monday afternoon. Kayaker's name is Phil Capel of Sherwood if anyone knows him. Tried to look him up under the members list, but while we have lots of Phil's and Phillips, didn't find one from Sherwood.

It was pretty out there. I paddled alone Sunday night and yesterday here on Beaver lake.

I talked to the guy but never saw it in the paper.
I paddle by myself on the Arkansas River in the afternoons.
I try to do 10-15 miles each trip.
I have a house at Greers Ferry and paddle there on the weekends.
