Who do I need to contact to reserve my spot in WW school this year? I want to make sure that I am prepared for it.

First weekend in May. Watch for the opening of enrollment. Will be announced at some time. Register early when it comes open. No reservations made excpet when you enroll and pay.

Paddle as much as you can between now and then. Try to hook up with experienced Paddlers (plenty out there with certification) on those trips. They're always willing to give tips.

I paddle as much as possible but since none of my friends does this I am restricted to flat water. Some days I play in moving water but nothing exciting. I need to learn some basic skills (roll being at the top of the list) but have a chlorine sensitivity that keeps me out of the pool! If there is anyone in the river valley or northwest arkansas who wouldnt mind a tagalong newbie just contact me. My weekends are always open and if I dont have a ride to and fro I always have money for gas and can meet on the route to wherever. It is tough to have a nearly new Huck and be stuck at the lake with it!

Get down to the Mulberry when it gets back up and I'm sure you will find some accommodating people. Just be sure to let them know your experience level.
