NW Chapter 4th Annual Halloween Party Oct.25th

Just a reminder,

The Fourth Annual Northwest Chapter Halloween Costume Party and Campout will be at Tom Burroughs' Farm on Saturday, October 25th at 6:00 PM, and EVERYONE is invited! We're encouraging (but not requiring) everyone to dress up and join the fun - we'll have awards and prizes for the best costume!(or the most disturbing one....) There'll be a bonfire and a blow log for warmth and entertainment. We'll have some paddling videos to watch, and we'll also take another spooky midnight hike again this year, to the haunted railroad tunnel and beyond...

Come hungry because the NW Chapter will again this year be supplying FREE grilled burgers, hot dogs, and veggies and chips! Invite your friends - the event is open to anyone who wants to come. Kids and pets are more than welcome! There's plenty of room to camp if you want to bring a tent and stay the night. Camping is encouraged! The party will start at 6:00 PM and go all night. Check with your local chapter leadership (Fish or David) to get more info.

Directions: From Fayetteville take 540 south to exit 45 (Winslow and Route 74) . At the exit turn left (east) and follow 74 for about 8 miles till you get to Winslow. You'll go down a big hill and then you'll hit 'downtown Winslow'. Cross the Railroad tracks and take a right on Main Street immediately after the tracks (you'll go uphill on the road with the white guardrail bearing right at the fork). Stay on Main Street until you pass the school yard on your left. At a four-way stop, turn right onto Van Buren and then bear left onto Bromley. This is RD 3296. Follow RD 3296 a half mile and make a left at the second turn (RD 3297) and it will bring you down to the Railroad tracks. Cross over the tracks and Tom's house is the first one you'll see on the left. Look for signs on the road to guide you to the party.
