boatball is kind like ultimate frisby....you have two teams and each defends a goal (imaginary line marked by a bouy). you try to get the ball past the line by passing it forward to teammates or by tossing it ahead of you and paddling to it... just dont let the other team get it!
but thats a good idea...i could probably get andy to come too

I would probably come down to try it out. I've been dying for any excuse to get on the water these last two weeks.

Re: Russellville People
Please don't take this the wrong way, but, have you seen the water in Lake Dardanelle??? Nasty. Nasty.
Phil and I went the other day to do some flat water drills, but did not have time to get up to Long Pool. We stayed maybe ten minutes. The water was nasty. I literally couldn't see the end of my white paddle blade in that water. To be frank, I felt like I had taken my canoe to a hooker - like my boat needed a scrubbing, hot shower and a fistful of penicillin. I'm sorry boat! I'll never do that to you again!
Seriously, though. The one time I swam in Lake Dardanelle I picked up a raging ear infection. I had forgotten just how bad the water quality was until Phil and I went over there the other day. Maybe I'm a little spoiled by our Ozark streams, but I'm surprised everytime I see people swimming in Dardanelle.
Just my worthless opinion.

yeah, its gross...but have you ever run a severly flooded creek? its muddy and disgusting, but fun. we go out there and paddle about once a week just for fun, and we dont care. it stinks and its gross, but thats what showers are for... seriously. boatball is a fun way to hang out with fellow paddlers and have a good time when creeks arent running.
