Buffalo River Trip Suggestions??

Post by stpete_ross » Tue Sep 30, 2008 11:42 am

I am planning a trip to the Buffalo River (staying at Buff. Point) next week and was wondering if anyone could suggest a float trip down the river. I am looking to do about 10-12 miles or so with a shuttle. I have an open-cockpit tandem so any whitewater would have to be minimal. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Wild Bill's Canoe Rental can fix you up on that shuttle. 800-554-865seven
http://www.ozark-float.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; South Maumee down to Buffalo point is just over 13 miles and is a good time for a leisurely two day float or a power paddle in one day. At the bottom of every big pool is a little rapid.(little is the keyword) Enjoy.
That rug really tied the room together.
