Central Chapter Meeting - Tues 9/23 Oyster Bar
Don't forget - fourth Tuesday of the month! We meet at Oyster Bar on Markham in Little Rock. Official meeting starts at 7:30pm, but come early for food, drink and conversation!
This month we are pleased to have Margaret (aka Stan) share with us her many tales of adventures as she has set out to paddle all 49 contiguous U.S. states...as of last count she has just 7 left to go. She'll have a slide show of pictures and some great stories, too!
See you all at the Oyster!

What a neat presentation by Stan!
42 states in just 2 and 1/2 years! And from what we saw, these were not like she just plunked the ol' canoe down in any ol' water - we are talking about epic paddling adventures from Alaska to Isle Royal to Bay of Fundy. The pictures were beautiful, but I think I enjoyed the last slide and the message the most...
"What would you do if you were not afraid?"
That was really inspiring - thank you so much for sharing!

For those who didn't attend the meeting last night you missed a very enjoyable presentation by Stan. I'm sure she has many more experiences and pictures to share so will bring her back another time to hear more about her adventures.
Thanks Stan (Margaret)
