'VOUS HELP NEEDED FOR CATHERINE CLEANUP, CADDO FLOAT

I am not going to be able to take part in 'Vous this year as I had planned. I pinched a nerve in my back and broke a finger because of Gustav and need someone to take over coordinating the Saturday events: Lake Catherine cleanup and Caddo float. Can anyone (less prone to injury) help out? These events are both fun, both short; the cleanup provides you with free lunch and a chance to win door prizes that include a laptop computer. The Caddo float is a lazy two mile run with clear, cool water. Get in touch with 'Vous coordinator (one-half coordinator?) Dave Smith if you can help out. I was also going to help with the Sunday run down the Ouachita River, but there are usually plenty of helpers for that event.

Whatever it was, I didn't know it at the time it happened. I've just got to keep it unloaded for a while by staying in bed, according to the doctor. I'm not getting old or anything like that, but I sure have noticed a lot of my friends are aging something fierce. And my board nickname of "Captain Aleve" is not an indication of the number of anti-inflammatory drugs I consume.
