Hey all Creek Cleaner Uppers,
I also have a bunch of folks who want to float the river tomorrow for the Lee Creek Cleanup. It looks like the only floatable part will be from 220 down to Natural Dam or so.
I Know the RV chapter is working the lower part of the river so I was wondering what y'alls plans are and if you'd like to share them so that others could join in to help you out.
Thanks, Half Ton

Half Ton,
I don't know for sure what the RV chapter plans are, but I know we will have people at the check in at Natural Dam starting around 8 AM, and hopefully they will have some maps showing people what areas need to be picked up. If you have people that want to boat from 220 down, I would send them that way. That way we will be sure to get it all covered, and they can have a nice float too!
Thanks for organizing this event,
Diane

Thanks for the info Diane ! I will pass it along to those who have and may still inquire about helping.
And, I wish I could take credit for organizing this thing, but the truth is there was and still is a great team of organizers that have been great to work with on this Cleanup.
A special hand to Mike Chiolino and Debbie Doss of the ACC, Lucas Caldwell and Rebekah Spurlock of Devils Den, Roy Estep and Mike Harrison of USFS, Robyn Reed of Wash. Co. Environmental Affairs, and Carla Spencer of the Wash. Co. Conservation District.
What a great group of people to be fortunate enough to get to work with

Plans are: George Locke to guid shuttle runs from Cove City to his propert. That is one run. Another would be from the FS take out to Cove City. I will be at Natural Dam early Sat morning to set up a table and provide maps, gloves, trash bags. I will not have time to float as I have work obligations and have to cut out early in the afternoon.dcheshier wrote:Half Ton,
