Hello
Hi I'm Fred, I live in the Russellville, Arkansas area and am interested in canoeing. I hope to learn about the hobbie and learn the cool places to go.

Re: Hello
Welcome to the site and hope you will consider attending the Rondevous. Their are paddlers of all types here in Arkansas. I'm sure you will find answers to most all your questions right here. Just ask, as their are many well versed paddlers out here who have already been there and done that, and will be happy to share their experience.

Re: Hello
12*13*14, any one of those days right? Tentatively, I'll shoot for Sunday Sept. 14th.
Do I need any more detailed instructions to make it there, like what's a good time to show up and were at Camp Couchdale to meet the group.
(in case there is more than one launching area)

Re: Hello
Fred> if you can make it Saturday, that is when most of the classes are! And a really fun Saturday night planned. Check out the event board. This is the first event I ever attended 3 years ago and I now have multiple boats, have learned of many fun rivers in AR and made lots of friends. I answered this same statement under Newbie .... if you really are interested, drop everything and attend Saturday and make the float trip on Sunday.
