Little Missouri

Post by BoofTejas » Tue Sep 02, 2008 5:38 pm

Already up a foot and a half and hasn't spiked. Anyone know the accuracy of this gauge, i.e. why the tot hasn't risen even close as fast, and also if it gets above 6ft, who's comin with me?

The Little MO has a much smaller watershed and typically responds faster, both rising and falling. The other gauges should ctach up tonight, looks like we are in for a few dyas of rain!!

lil mo has just gotten more rain earlier. the accumulation is greater in it's watershed than the tot up to this point. but it ain't over yet. only trouble tomorrow might be finding something low enough to paddle!

if little mo is over 7 go on up and check out crooked, that is where this spike is coming from. And what Brian really means is that you may not be able to get to any of the good stuff:) ( with out a big Truck) ;)

Runnable yes! making the shuttle, another story. It's looking like the Mo. and the Tot might be in double digit levels before morning if this keeps up. Crooked, Baker?

Perhaps historic rainfall and flooding coming. Mike B., we may have to run Tucker Creek here in Conway and drag home.

Heath, what would you want to run if you can get out of work. If you can get out, and if i can get in touch with the guy from earlier in this post then we could ride up together and have shuttle set. I'm thinking I'm going to the little mo tomorrow regardless since I only have a day and it's already up and rising. I don't really want to wait for the cos to come up. How often will they update the gauge info in langley?
