Sir kayak a lot, I disagree. If you watch the fayetteville video at wister it starts off by showing all the dead fish that were trying to escape the water.

I've wanted to head out to Wister, Ok just to check it out. I don't know anything about it. I see everyone talking about it, but everyone says the water is NASTY! It can be worse than the RIO GRANDE!!

Please Advise?

i mean yea, i have REALLY skinny feet. What can i say, I'm a skinny dude and i guess it shows in my feet as well. The infection kinda made my foot look normal.

The water isn't that bad. it doesn't even smell! i'll be back as soon as i can!!!

Alright you caught me, the fish were dead because of mexicans (and one white guy) using nets to put them in buckets.

The wave is a whole lot of fun, I wouldn't choose not to go based on water quality. Its not that much worse than the ocoee in my opinion. I'll be back shortly

i can't go today unfortunately i have developed
a terrible skin infection from my last trip. i'm in

I never heard anyone complain of anything having to do with the water at Wister when I was there with the other 15 or so boaters...Everyone was fighting to get in it...It doesn't matter anyway...let's just play!!!! :beer: :clap: :clap:
