If you mean the fish, then no not yet. But I am planning on trying again this Saturday if possible. I noticed that they are going to drop the flow from Remmell to their minimum of 400 cfs.

I have an old friend who sent me a message on Facebook this morning seeking information about fishing on the Kings River. Anyone have thoughts I could pass along to him? Thanks! crane

It's been a few years but, we had some fun times small mouth fishing on the kings. Smaller spinner baits, jerk baits, crawworms and even crank baits in the pools worked well. Kings River Outfitters ran shuttle for us. Fishing was actually better when the river was a little low. Upper river sees less boat traffic. Don't remeber the levels but KRO should be able to assist. Hope this helps.

Larry, I've only fished the King's once but in my experience it fished like the Buffy. Things like Hula Grubs and tubes worked well for me. I think Kristian Underwood and Tom McFettridge could give you some better and more specific intel.

Larry,

Clint Rickett is a friend, and member of this board who has fished it quite a few times. Within the last several years, he and his brother, and brother-in-law made some fishing, floating, over-nighters on it. I remember him either posting, or emailing pictures, section details, and other comments. Might do a search, or just send Clint a PM, he's a really great guy!

Best Regards
Jim

I haven't been there, but it's on my list. I did fish a little
at Little Moe and the Little Missouri rivers today. I think
I will try Lake DeGray tomorrow.

The white bass are heading upstream with their eggs. I found some up at Amity Landing on DeGray Lake. It is amazing how well they can fight. :kayak:

I want in. I fished the maumelle river on Sat 3/8 and the white bass are starting to run. I'm always looking for someone to fish with. PM me and we'll work out details. I live in SE Ark (near Felsenthal NWR) but grew up in NLR so I'm in the area about every other weekend visiting family or fishing.

Edgar,

Good luck with your fishing in the morning, from the weather forecasts, it looks pretty good earlier on in the day.
I had such a pleasant morning when we all fished in the rain at 'The Ledge' one morning late last Summer. There are always lot's of places like this that afford easy access, and the ability to pack-up if the weather changes too much. Wherever you choose to go, I hope you will enjoy your outing!

Best Regards
Jim
