Don't let him fool ya folks. The Giant could beat any three normal boatball players with one wrist tied behind his back. However, it's gonna be harder for him to hold me in a headlock while punching the ball lose. So that's a good thing.

Yeah, but they must've been playing with a handicap, what did they have, 17 kids, 8 old guys, and 2 real players? :poke2:

Enjoyed it ladies and gents!

I think we need to do this every few months. It was just too much fun.

I think it was a tie. Very balanced game. They had Hunter, and we had the wind blowing in our direction. They didn't have a giant or pirate, but they also didn't have Zach. Balanced.

Fun time with a great group of people, and the weather turned out great too! Thanks to all the folks who cooked and organized the event. I'll have to come down again next year!

ramming speed! :kayak: :canoe:

A big cudos to Dave Thomas for the effort put into on this event! Outstanding job and to all others involved too. I can see Dave getting reelected as RV President! Also a big thanks to Tommy for keeping score-you can always count on his accuracy! Great time enjoyed meeting and playing with everybody!

:( Sat around most of the day up in Rogers, didn't turn enough profit to pay me for the day. Hated to miss it, but calling in is NOT an option. Since when did anyone keep score in boatball?

Looking forward to Wednesday!

Just wanted to say thanks to Dave, Kurt, Ryan, & everyone who worked on making the Throwdown a big success!

Saturday's game was great fun & it has been great to see boatball get up & running with a bang in the River Valley!! Special thanks to Terry for getting the spark lit down there and to Jason & the others that coordinate getting folks out to play each week.

Already looking forward to next year's Throwdown.

Hopefully we can see boatball get up & running in the other Arkansas chapters by this time next year & we can make it a state wide Throwdown event. :hammer2: :hammer2:

Totally awesome game. Thanks so much to Dave and Kirk and everyone who set it up, brought amazing food and came out and paddled hard.

Fort Smith brought some game, for sure... it was like boatball war with so many boats. If it doesn't rain, we've still got a couple of summer months left and I'd be good to support a pot luck for another game.
