SAVE the BUFFALO RIVER - Mgm't Plan input time (DUE AUG 31)

Just want to throw out a reminder that input for the Buffalo Management Plan is due Monday August 31. The website says that input will be considered afterwards, but would be most helpful if you can get it in now.

I encourage everyone to take a few minutes, get your thoughts together on what is most important to you and let the Parks Service know. I plan to comment using both the canned email response form and with a more formal snail mail later this week. Also, while you are at it, you might as well comment on the Scenic Riverways Plan in Missouri!

One last thing... I have thought that there may be folks out there that would prefer the "easy peezy" route to commenting by simply cutting and pasting an already prepared response (providing you concur with the contents, of course!) So if anyone wants, I would be happy to post my canned response here and, if there is any interest, perhaps others could do so as well. I figure a complety canned response is far better than no reponse at all.
