Lil Mo Dam Release Friday 8/10
Re: Lil Mo Dam Release Friday 8/10
I just wanted to thank everybody for a really GREAT!! time. The river was a blast and all of you guys and ladys made it even better. Also thanks for turning us onto a great little Mexican restaurant. I don't check the website as often as I use to, but I sure hope I don't miss the next float you all do.
Thanks again

How did the flow work out with the reduced generation during the last hour? Any difference from the full 3 generators for 3 hours? My back has not recovered from last Thursday's trip or I would have been there.

The Little Mo is a great river for the Signorelli family: Mandy's first combat roll, now Aly's first combat roll, and then the river even gave back Bryan's paddle. Nice!
We had plenty of water for the duration of our float. Of course I haven't been in 3 years since my shoulder problems, so I'm not sure if it was affecting any waves differently than usual...the final set of waves still seemed plenty sweet to me! And there was still plenty of water flowing at the take out for some interesting, um, recreation involving tethered surfing while shuttle was being run...so I would say no worries regarding the reduced generator.
I didn't get an exact count, but I believe we had just about 25 paddlers on the river...19 made it to dinner. Glad so many made it and that it was a fun day for all!

I've heard that into every life a little of it must fall,
but you'll never catch me complaining about too much of that southern rain.

Bump for GPS coords for put in/ take out (thank you Lupe!)
Thinking about heading down from NWA tomorrow, you know the old four hour drive for a two hour float Arkansas style!
