Saturday R2ing raft on mulberry with fam
Sunday late late afternoon West cedar 1st run med high and rising. lots of lightning.
2nd lap on west cedar extremly super high and rising with lots of lightning and quarter size hail. Has to be the highest ever ran. Oh and did I say alot of lightning.

Okay, gotta' jump in here.
Tues, 4/19 - looked at forecast. Lots of rain looked to be a sure thing, so in spite of some looming deadlines on critical work project, finagled my way to take off work Thursday and Friday.
Thurs, 4/21 - bust. No rain. Messed around the house and took my time loading boating gear. Went ahead and drove to F'ville, though fully expected to have to back-track to Clayton to boat.
Fri, 4/22 - minimal rain - or was there any? Ran Frog w/ FarPastGone and friend from TX passing thru. Nice day to be on the water and knock a little rust off, but also knocked a hole in the bottom of my playboat.
Sat, 4/23 - Osage, good level, great crew - GREAT day! Been wanting this one for a long time - very satisfying.
Sun, 4/24 - Easter w/wife and sons home from college. This day is a big deal for our family - no regrets. Confessional: checked levels from Blackberry during church. Threw up a little bit in my mouth.
Mon, 4/25 - back to work. Morning meeting with boss to get a kick in the nuts for not being able to provide a list of all unknown problems on critical project. Evening: captured insane levels on Fish's Gauge Page for posterity, 'cuz that's about all I'm going to get out of it.
Tues, 4/26 - Work. Only a couple of meetings, so able to actually get some stuff done...while I wasn't day-dreaming of perfect Ozark creeking.
Wed, 4/27 - Half-day of work, then attended a attended half-day design workshop for Tulsa Whitewater Park. If we get half of what they showed on their conceptual design drawings, it will be...mmmmm...VERY good. If they put in the wave-maker option, you'll be wanting an apartment here in Tulsa.
Thu, 4/28 - showed up at work and had a bunch of meetings, but mostly day-dreamed about Tulsa Wavepark...and the creeking that was STILL happening out there.
Fri, 4/29 - Worked. Fixed leaky toilet upstairs. That's water-related, right?
Sat, 4/30 - kept reading posts added to this thread. Repeatedly screaming out loud, "You suck! You suck!" Wife offers meds. Declined.
This account only slightly embellished for effect. Seriously happy for everyone that's been able to get out and safely enjoy all the water. Always good to hear about new stuff getting opened up. Thanks for sharing. As tough as it sometimes is to not be there, it beats hearing nothing.
