A couple of notes since I didn't have time for captions...

The first two bird shots were taken on DeView, but on the day before our official trip, about one quarter mile downstream of our Saturday take-out.

And yes, Al knows which end of a paddle to hold, he was just clowning around.

Karla,
I was dismayed when I looked back at my postings and found that I had not included some closer shots of you and that lovely orange do rag you wore with great style. Al and Tina have promised to teach me how to use a web site to load my pictures and than cut and paste the web address so I won't take up so much space posting individual pictures and can just put a link to the whole album so all pictures can be enjoyed by other members. Cyberdoofus that I am, I still think I can learn how to do this. Look forward to seeing you on the Wattensaw float soon.

I also included a picture of a tree with unusual shape. Looks like one is trying to give the other a big open mouth kiss.

Thanks to everyone. These trips are always great but I especially love getting to show people DeView for the first time. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the country. I look forward to getting us out again on the two lower sections of river.
