Sorry, I do not have a track log but it is an extremely easy paddle. Once you get into Dagmar WMA, put in any where along the road and paddle in either direction. The Bayou parallels the road. You can't get lost.

Great pictures Mikki and thanks for scouting the trip in advance! My plan is to try and get to H Lake by 11:00am.

Also Check the paddling schedule at the top of this post some changes have been made.

Please see the H Lake thread for directions and post questions about carpooling. I am trying to cut down on confusion by posting a separate thread for each trip and keeping this one for general discussion. I guess I need to get the post out sooner :)

Hi fellow paddlers- Please let me introduce myself - I'm TexasAnnie (aka Ann Carr) and I will be living at White River NWR begining next week. I'm new to Arkansas and the Arkansas Paddlers but want to say I'm looking forward to joining in your adventures. I have a Perception Acadia and well versed in kayaking/canoeing, camping and dutch oven cooking... So, it looks like the first time I'll be able to join in will be New Year's Day - I'm so looking forward to meeting you all.

That's great Ann! We look forward to meeting you on New Year's Day. I plan to pull some trips together on a few weekends as weather permits and I will post a Spring schedule of trips.

Welcome to Arkansas and the ACC!

From Interstate 430 in West Little Rock you will take the Highway 10/Cantrell Road Exit. Go west approximately 7 miles to Chenal Parkway and turn right on Chenal/Highway 300. Go approximately three miles to the western entrance to Pinnacle Mountain State Park. Turn right of of Hwy 300 into the park and drive all the way back to the last parking lot. There is a boat ramp there where we will launch.

I have started another post for this trip so check it out.

I look forward to seeing you on New Years!
